Saranello's

I can’t thank Lara and the entire team at Saranello’s enough for going above and beyond for my book launch event. We reserved the private upstairs lounge, and it was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, and the staff made sure every detail was taken care of. The food was phenomenal, the drinks were spot-on, and the service was seamless. Every guest commented on how wonderful the evening felt, and that’s a direct reflection of the care and effort put in by the Saranello’s staff. If you’re looking for the ideal place to host a special event—or simply enjoy a fantastic meal—you won’t find a better spot than Saranello’s. Thank you!

Food was great, server was good, though probably just super busy on a Friday night. Not her fault. Drinks were a little slow - also probably not our server's fault. Think that was the bar. I'll be back for a private event within a couple weeks, but I'd likely go again just for dinner.

I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at Saranello’s Banquets, and it was an absolutely magnificent space. The venue, located inside the Westin Chicago North Shore in Wheeling, offers a modern yet warm and sophisticated atmosphere that’s perfect for weddings and special events. The banquet space is beautifully designed with rich wood accents, dramatic lighting, and plenty of room for both ceremonies and receptions. The floral and decor setups here look incredible in photos! The staff were incredibly professional and accommodating, making sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend for couples looking for a stylish, all-in-one venue that delivers both exceptional service and a stunning backdrop for photos.

The food tasted great, but not outstanding. Prepared well. Everyone in our party of six was happy with their meal. We sat outside, so I didn't get the feel of the inside atmosphere. Server was knowledgeable. Total of $77 for us two, w/glass of wine. Worth patronizing if you're willing to spend. Pictured is my eggplant Parmesan, which was great. Lemon chicken and ravioli. Deserts were average.

The food was great as always. Try the pistachio-crusted white fish. Very tasty and comes with an incredible Brussels sprouts slaw. Service can sometimes be slow because the place is packed on most days.

First of all, the bread + olive oil. OMG. I had the chicken Marsala and it was very good. Tasted the chicken limone and found it a bit flavorless. And tasted the gnocchi which was pillowy and lovely, but a bit too spicy for me. The atmosphere is very nice, but a little bit loud. They seem to have some very beautiful party rooms. also, the service was fantastic.
